Postpartum Doula Support
WHAT IS A POSTPARTUM DOULA?
The main focus of a postpartum doula is to help the mother get the FIVE UNIVERSAL POSTPARTUM NEEDS met: rest, nourishing food, loving touch, presence of wise women, Nature (The Fourth Trimester, Kimberly Ann Johnson).
Postpartum Doula Package 1
Schedule:
- 1-2 days a week
- Beginning immediately after birth or a few weeks out depending on your needs
My Postpartum Doula Package 1 includes:
- 1 prenatal visit:
- I will come to your home and we will spend time getting to know each other and making a comprehensive plan of support for your postpartum time
- 8 postpartum visits (2 hours each, 16 hours total):
- Help with light housework (laundry, dishes, cleaning up around the house)
- Help with baby
- Cooking/prepping nutritious meals
- Herbal teas/remedies to support your healing
- Herbal baths
- Rebozo
- Nervous system regulation support
- Educational support
- Emotional support and birth processing
- Support with breastfeeding/pumping
- Womb massage

POSTPARTUM DOULA PACKAGE 2
Schedule:
- 1-2 days a week
